Sydney Haistings paints to fuel her life. Sydney’s work aims to embody the feeling of innocence and freedom that one feels during youth. Just as a child finds treasure in the most insignificant discarded objects, Sydney uses random materials to inspire her painting process. Sydney Haistings was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and is currently based out of Savannah, GA. She is pursuing a BFA in painting and a minor in drawing at Savannah College of Art and Design and has shown in multiple SCAD open studios. Sydney believes that she doesn’t create the paintings, but the paintings create who she is.
